The European Commission has published an updated version of its EUDR supply chain infographic, now in its 3rd edition. The new version was released on 24 March 2026 and reflects the December 2025 amendments to the EU Deforestation Regulation framework. For companies working with wood and other in-scope commodities, this update is relevant as it further clarifies how obligations are structured across different actors in the supply chain.

The practical takeaway
For now, the infographic serves as a reference point for how the Commission presents the supply chain structure. Its practical application will become more evident as implementation progresses and supporting tools – such as the EUDR Information System – are fully updated and operational.
Note on the EUDR Information System
The European Commission has also announced temporary limitations to the EUDR Information System starting 16 February, as updates are being deployed to reflect the amended regulation.
During this period:
- The LIVE production server remains accessible in read-only mode (existing data can be consulted).
- The ACCEPTANCE server (training environment) is unavailable.
- No new registrations or submissions are possible on either server.
The reopening date is expected to be communicated in mid-April, with the system coming back online shortly after. This reflects ongoing technical updates linked to the amended regulation.
